I won’t fault it for lack of originality – that’s not what this series is known for. This Very Short Introduction looks at the phenomenon of international human migration – both legal and illegal – and offers an objective interbational on the topic, and its benefits and challenges. Koser takes the reader through basic terms in talking about migration of various sorts, kinds of research into migration including what they can’t yet study welltrends on scales from years to centuries, the staggering scope and uses of remittances back home, and more.
