I think that when we travel as a family, we really grow together. I also like meeting other travelers from around the world. It really brings home the idea of a global community. The place that always draws me back as soon as we leave is Africa. I also love the warmness of the Irish community and the rich tradition in Ireland.
I love pretty much all of Asia, especially Vietnam and Indonesia, where you can hike through forests shadowed by orangutans or snorkel with sharks.
I also like discovering nature…feeding reindeer in Scotlandtracking orangutans in Indonesia, caring for elephants in Thailanddiving with great white sharks in South Africadiscovering the mini-land of smaller animals in the Amazon Rainforest.
I like to travel by train too.

He cares deeply for his family but as he takes after his father, he finds it difficult to communicate that. Which, in this case, would've been a disaster since Jay is a brilliant director He initially presented it to Roach who had, up to that point, directed the first two Austin Powers films.
Roach admits to have liked the script from the beginning and was very much willing to make the film even though he thought "it needed more work. The studio was skeptical of Roach's ability to direct a "less-cartoony, character-driven script" compared to a comedy like Austin Powers.
